Aransas County’s part in the final battle in the War for America’s Soul begins today! Don’t know about y’all, but I have been waiting a long time to vote for Donald J Trump to be our 47th President, Ted Cruz to retain his seat in the US Senate and Michael Cloud to continue representing the County in the US House. Early voting location and hours of operation information is below.
The first thing is obvious – VOTE! If you have a mail in ballot, get it in the mail TODAY! I am told the Early Ballot Board has already processed over 2/3 of the ballots sent out!
If you are eligible to and want to vote by mail, you can still apply. Application can be downloaded here. If you do not have the ability to print or need assistance, please visit us at headquarters (1521-B West Market Street). The application must be received (not postmarked) by the Early Voting Clerk by October 25, 2024.
Grab a Sample Ballot at Headquarters. Need help with who to vote for before you go to the polls? Mark a Sample Ballot and take it with you! Use it to help you vote and then make sure you bring it out with you. This is legal and I highly encourage it. Obviously – vote Republican, but make sure you vote in all races for the RIGHT person.
Take people with you to vote. Grab your friends, family, neighbors, whoever with you to vote. Voting can be a group activity. Make an event out of it. Have breakfast or lunch and then go vote. Vote and then go play a round of golf. Go fishing and then vote. Take a walk around the Art Center then go vote. There are many options to make it a memorable event for everyone involved.
There are still plenty of things to do before the vote is accounted on November 5. In a previous email (find it here), I outline things you can do to get people to go out and vote from the comfort of home. You may want to follow up with them later this week. Bank the Vote to make this election Too Big to Rig (blog about these initiatives is available here). There are more things you can do.
Electioneering is the people hanging out at the polling locations talking to people and then thanking them when they leave. We will be having folks at the Election Office doing this – feel free to join them.
Headquarters is a great place to hang out. I will guarentee we will be open everyday of early voting (except Oct 27) from 10am-2pm. If the big red GOP HQ banner is flying out near the street, the office is open.
Put out yard signs. I have 50 Trump/Vance yard signs left and they are going to go fast! We also have three different signs for Vote Republican. Trump and Vote Republican signs are now reduced to a $3 minimum donation each. We also have Ted Cruz, Michael Cloud and Todd Hunter signs along with three of our four judges for the 13th Court of Appeals. These signs are free. Do you know a good place to put a sign? Come and get one! We need to sprinkle the Republican love all over the County.
Facebook/Next Door. We will be posting like crazy! Check us out on either app for information throughout early voting. We will be posting numbers, times when there is a short or no line to vote early. Like and share what you see. Our facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/aransascountyrepublicanparty. Make sure to follow us while you are there. There will be people posting on Next Door for all to see.
Are you willing to help those without transportation to get to the polls? Please let me know. I had a lovely lady recently get a hold of me for driving people to the polls from the Aransas Pass part of Aransas County – a god send! If someone cannot get to the polls, we need to help them get there! We will be getting information out to the nursing homes, rehab center and the Council on Aging on how to contact us to help get their residents to the polls.
Ladies and Gentlemen – failure is not an option! We need to do everything we can to get people to the polls and vote Republican on the entire ballot. As always, feel free to share this email. If we can get one more person to get one more person to the polls, we will win!
If not now, when? If not us, who?
